I married my Senior Prom date Neta White (class of ’65) in 1969. After college in 1970, we moved to the Denver, Colorado area, where we have lived ever since (and love it). I worked mostly in the aerospace and telecommunications industries and am now retired. We have a son and daughter, both married and we have 5 grandchildren with one more due in August. With all of our families living in the area, we spend a good deal of time with them – Lacrosse is now big here and we see a lot of the kids’ games. My hobbies/interests include: Civil War history, fly-fishing, cycling, and woodworking. We have been incredibly blessed in our lives and are looking forward to meeting our classmates again after all these years. Dave |

Neta Townsend (White) I married fellow student and prom date, David Townsend, in 1969. I was working for the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland, before we moved to Denver, Colorado, after David graduated from college in 1970. After working at Martin Marietta for a few years, we had a son and daughter who are now married and have blessed us with 5 grandchildren (ages 14, 10, 6, 4, and 2 plus another due in August). I was able to stay at home and raise our children until our youngest went to 1st grade. I went back to the Federal Government and retired in 2011. Having our children and grandchildren in the Denver area is great and we enjoy going to their school and sports activities, babysitting, and a lot of other family events. I also keep myself busy with scrapbooking (together with my daughter and daughter-in-law), quilting, and other craft activities, as well as our traveling. We are looking forward to the reunion and getting together with our high school friends, some of whom we still keep in contact with. Hope to see you there! |
