Comment: For the past 30 years, I’ve lived in Northern Virginia; my children and grandchildren live nearby and we spend good times together.  I began college in NC, but came home, got married, had 2 children, finally graduated from the U of MD, and then became a stay-at-home mom. I eventually went to work (real estate and admin), but recently retired and now do volunteer work.  My favorite trips so far were to Alaska and Ireland.

Comment: After graduation from HS I enrolled at the Univ of Maryland, shortly after, my Dad became very ill (stroke).  I left school, (two younger brothers still at home) and went to work for (Ma Bell) in DC.  Six months later we moved my dad back to his home in Michigan where I spent the next 33 yrs with the phone company.  Mostly in Michigan but also over seas and retired on April 1, 1999 while in Chicago.


My wife said lets go where there is "no snow"!  So now we live (15 yrs) in South Carolina near Hilton Head.  Have not had a quiet day yet.
