Comment: Have recently moved to NC with my husband, Rod Shull.  Kept the last name of Painter - was married to the former Wayne Painter - Class of '64.  Unfortunately Wayne died in  2001 from ALS.  Rod and I married in 2004.  My two daughters live in VA and we have 5 granchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Rod and  I enjoy travelling, family, and being outside in nature.  Wayne and I lived in Honolulu, Hi when our youngestr daughter was born then several years later found ourselves in Africa.  I worked for the State Dept. at the American Embassy in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa.  My two girls and I were evacuated after a Coup in April 1980.   Worked in banking until I was robbed at gunpoint and then found my niche in the Building industry working as a buyer for several big homebuilders in No. VA.  Am now retired and enjoying life to the fullest.

Thanks to the Reunion Committee for their great work!  Hope I can join all of you for our 50th; it would be wonderful to see everyone again!

Comment: Some college after graduation at DuVal, military service, marriage to a wonderful woman I met in the USA but is from W. Germany.  Her name is Sonja.  Three daughters and three grandaughters.  Spent 38 years working in the Bell System and then two spinoff companies.  Some of the positions I worked in required travel throughout the US and internationally.  I am currently living in the Northern Neck of Virginia on the water just around the corner from the Chesapeake Bay.  Love boating and jet skiing, eating crabs with friends.  Spend a lot of time working around the house and at at my local church.  Can't wait to see all the friends from high school.  I have been in touch with a couple other DuVal friends over the years and some more most recently.
