As many of you have said it is hard to realize it's been 50 years. To quickly recap, left DuVal for Duke and then back to Maryland for my MD. Married the love of my life, Linda in 1973 just after graduation. Off to Montreal for 2 years of residency and then to Philadelphia for 11 years where I became a pediatric nephrologist (kiddie kidneys) and joined the faculty at Penn and Children's. We had our first kid (Matt) there and then moved to Richmond for 7 years where our daughter (Jenny) was born. Left in 1993 to because Chief of Pediatric Nephrology at Duke. Still there but trying to wind down as both kids have grown up, married, and Matt now has 2 kids of his own. Grandkids we have discovered, as many of you have, are the greatest. Besides having fun with them, I enjoy rooting for the Duke Blue Devils. Looking forward to catching up with everyone. |

| Comment: This should be a very fun event. Looking forward to it. I graduated from the Univ. of Maryland and retired from a career in retail in 2007. I have a son and a daughter who have each given me two wonderful grandchildren. I lost my husband Dave in 1987 and remarried in 2002. John and I enjoy boating, thoroughbred racing , the Washington Capitals and get-togethers with family and friends. We took a very memorable trip to the Greek Islands. Hope to see many old friends at the reunion. | |
